Earlier this month, ASUS ZenFone 2 went on sale in Taiwan. The handset will hit European shores soon, and it seems the region will get a more powerful version of the ASUS Zenfone 2.
ASUS France teased some images of the handset on Twitter, and it seems there are several versions of the ZenFone 2 with one of them featuring 4GB of RAM and a higher price tag.
Multiple versions of the handset will go on sale, starting at 179 EUR. The base model features a 5-inch HD display, a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2560 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The mid-range model carries a 249 EUR price tag and features a 5.5-inch display sporting a resolution of 1,280 by 720 pixels, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
The last one is the premium version, including a 5.5-inch display supporting a resolution of 1,920 by 1,080 pixels, a faster 2.3GHz Intel Atom processor, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
These prices are a little higher than Taiwan, but well, we all have a pretty good idea that prices in Europe are slightly higher than the rest of the markets. But, it’s still good enough considering what the handsets have to offer.
