Anyone searching for a small virtual reality ready desktop PC, may be interested in a new creation by Asus, in the form of the VivoPC X. Which comes equipped with a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card and is powered by an Intel Core i5-7300HQ processor supported by 8 GB of RAM.
The small desktop mini PC can also be equipped with an HDD to provide up to 2 TB of storage or if you’re looking for something a little faster a solid state drive (SSD) offering up to 512 GB. The mini PC also supports 4K Ultra HD displays and is fully equipped with Nvidia G-Sync technology.
Connectivity on the mini PC includes 4 x USB 3.1 ports, 2 x USB 2.0 ports as well as a DisplayPort and HDMI outputs. The system is also shipped with Asus’s Sonic Radar software for more immersive VR audio and is fitted with a custom heat pipe and fans to help keep the processor quietly cool whilst using virtual reality hardware and immersive experiences.
The Asus VivoPC X will be available during March 2017 and systems will be priced from $799.
