After first announcing their new Asus Transformer Book T100 tablet/notebook back in September Asus has today announced that the tablet is now available to purchase in the US for $349.
The new Asus Transformer Book T100 is a dockable tablet that comes supplied with a keyboard dock to transform it in to a notebook and allow you to type out those longer emails and documents in comfort on a full QWERTY keyboard rather than a touch screen.
The Transformer Book T100 comes supplied by Asus running Microsoft’s latest Windows 8.1 operating system update and is powered by a Bay Trail Intel quad-core Atom Z3740, supported by 2GB of RAM and sporting 64GB of internal storage.
Its also fitted with 1.2 megapixel front facing camera for video calling as well as Micro-USB, Micro-HDMI, MicroSD, USB 3.0 ports and connectivity for the Asus Transformer Book T100 is provided by both Bluetooth and 802.11a/b/n WiFi.
Asus have equipped the T100 tablet with a 31Wh lithium polymer battery together with a 10.1 inch IPS multi-touch HD screen offering 178 degree viewing angles and a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.
