Asus has introduced three new mini PC systems to its Tinker range in the form of the Asus Tinker Edge R and Tinker Edge T and the CR1S-CM-A. The Tinker Edge R mini PC was last week showcased at this year’s Computex 2019 technology show. The Tinker Edge T and CR1S-CM-A both feature an NXP I.MX8M quad-core Arm Cortex-A53 processor and Google’s Coral Edge TPU system-on-module for artificial intelligence/machine learning. Although the CR1S-CM-A also supports Power over Ethernet, an M.2 expansion slot, a SATA interface together with a few other features making it tailored for enterprise applications.

While the Asus Tinker Edge R Pico-ITX SBC mini PC is powered by Rockchip RK3399Pro hexa-core processor equipped with a 3.0 TOPS NPU. Full Asus Tinker Edge R SBC specifications are listed below and the mini PC will come with fully open-source kernel and support for multiple APIs, including OpenGL, Vulkan, OpenCL, OpenVX, TensorFlow Lite, Android NN, and Caffe.
