If you have been waiting for the arrival of the ASUS Eee PC 1015PX Netbook, you will be pleased to know that Asus has now started shipping their new netbook and its now available to purchase.
The new ASUS Eee PC 1015PX is powered by an Intel Atom N570 Dual Core Processor 1.66Ghz, supported by 1 GB DDR3 SODIMM memory, which is capable of being increased up to 2 GB. Its fitted with a 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 screen and comes running Windows 7 Starter edition.
Be aware that there are two variants of the netbook: the 1015PX-PU17 with a 56W/h battery providing “up to 11 hours” of run time and the 1015PX-MU17 with a 48W/h unit for maximal “10 hours” of battery life.
Both are fitted with identical specifications and comes equipped with a 0.3-megapixel web camera, wireless N, Bluetooth 3.0 technology, LAN and VGA ports, three USB 2.0 connectors, and an SD/MMC card reader. Both the PU17 and MU17 Eee PC 1015PX netbooks come in black, white, red, and blue. The MU17 model is now available for $320 and the PU17 model for $390 online.
