At Computex 2018 this week Asus has unveiled a new desktop mini PC in the form of the Asus ProArt which is powered by Intel 8th generation Core processors supported by NVIDIA Quadro graphics, and Intel Optane Memory to boost the performance of mechanical storage.
Designed to provide both a quiet and reliable desktop PC system that is more powerful than your standard NUC the Asus ProArt offers a system that is both stylish and expandable allowing you to upgrade components at a future date if required. “ASUS Mini PC ProArt series is an all-new lineup of powerful mini PCs suitable for professional content creation. ProArt PA90 features 8th Generation Intel Core processors, NVIDIA Quadro graphics, and support for Intel Optane technology for fast transfers of large files or boosted storage capacity. A quiet and efficient cooling solution ensures stable performance and frees the workspace of distracting fan noise. ProArt PA90 provides reliable operation and easy maintenance, making it suitable for modern professional users and designers.”
Unfortunately, no information on pricing, details on full specifications or worldwide availability has been released as yet by Asus, but as soon as information comes to light, we will keep you updated as always. Hopefully the new mini PC systems will be made available sooner rather than later
