Asus has announced a new addition to their graphics card line-up this week with the launch of the Asus GT 440 equipped with super alloy power technology, together with a GPU clocked at 822M, and memory clocked to 3200MHz, Asus also includes 1GB of GDDR5 RAM and it contains 96 CUDA cores.
The super alloy technology refers to power delivery components created from a special alloy formula, including the capacitors, chokes, and MOSFET. The new alloy is designed to lower temperatures of the card up to 35C and extend the life of the card by up to 2.5 times.
Asus has alos bundled their Voltage Tweak software with the new GT 440 allowing for easier overclocking and tweaking of the cards functions. The GT440 offers full support for HDMI 1.4a, a unified standard for delivering high quality audio and video along with full support and compliance for 3D content.
