We have been hearing about the new Asus Eee Pad Slider which is expected to go on sale next month for quite some time, we have already heard most of the specifications for the device, although we now have the full ones as Asus has now listed the Eee Pad slider on their website.
The Asus Eee Pad Slider will come with a 10.1 inch LED backlit WXGA display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, and according to Asus the display supports 10 finger multi-touch gestures and comes with scratch resistant glass, plus a slide out QWERTY keyboard.
Processing on the Asus Eee Pad Slider is provided by a dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, and there is also 1GB of RAM and a choice of either 16GB or 32GB of storage, plus you also get unlimited online storage.
The Asus Eee pad slider features two cameras, on the front there is a 1.2 megapixel camera for video chat and on the back there is a 5 megapixel camera for recording video ans shooting photos.
On top of that the Eee Pad slider features a built in speaker with ‘Supreme SRS Sound’ plus a microphone, you also get one USB 2.0 port, 1 mini HDMI port, one 3.5mm audio jack and a microSD card reader.
Other features include a G-sensor, a light sensor, a gyroscope, an E-compass and GPS, and it will ship with Android 3.1 Honeycomb, which will be updated to Android 3.2 Honeycomb shortly after it goes on sale.
