Asus has this week added a new addition to their range of Asus Chromebox systems with the availability of the X2-G016U desktop system that is now powered by a 5th generation Broadwell Intel Celeron 3205U processor 1.5 GHz.
The processor within the system is supported by Intel HD 5500 graphics together with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of on-board storage. At the current time Asus has not revealed whether other systems will be added to the range, but the latest Chromebox mini PC is now available to purchase direct from Amazon priced at $199.
The new Asus Chromebox system measures 4.88 x 1.65 x 4.88 inches in size and apparently boots up within seconds. Asus explains a little more.
