First ASUS Chrome OS tablet unveiled ahead of CES 2019

ASUS Chrome OS tablet

Ahead of CES 2019 next week ASUS has unveiled four new additions to its range of Chrome OS systems including the company’s first tablet running the Chrome operating system. The range has been designed for educational applications and offer rugged designs with flexible hinges.

The ASUS Chromebook Tablet CT100 is equipped with a rubberised case that measures less than 10 mm thick and offers a 9.7-inch QXGA display protected by tempered glass together with a Hexa-core OP1 processor supported by 4GB of RAM an 32 GB of internal storage. Equipped with a 35Wh lithium-polymer battery the system is capable of running for a full school day and uses a USB-C connection for power when recharging is necessary.

The full range of Chrome OS hardware unveiled by ASUS ahead of this year’s CES 2019 technology show which will be taking place from January 8th-11th, 2019 include :

– ASUS Chromebook Tablet CT100: The first tablet running the secure, reliable Chrome OS from Asus, with tough all-round protection and a stunning 9.7″ QXGA touchscreen
– ASUS Chromebook C204: A 11.6 inch clamshell Chromebook that features classroom-ready durability, school day-long battery life, and compact size
– ASUS Chromebook Flip C214: A 11.6-inch ruggedized convertible Chromebook that empowers innovative and flexible learning with 360° hinge built-in stylus, and world-facing camera
– ASUS Chromebook C403: A 14-inch clamshell Chromebook that combines big-screen productivity with classroom-ready toughness. Its ergonomic keyboard let things done in total comfort
