It looks like we have our second HD smartphone announcement for today. Earlier, we heard about the new Samsung Galaxy S II HD LTE, and now KDDI in Japan is getting a new HD smartphone, the Arrows Z.
The Arrows Z is the work of Toshiba and Fujitsu, who have teamed up to produce smartphones together. This collaboration has resulted in a device that boasts a range of impressive specifications. The Arrows Z features a 4.3-inch HD LCD multi-touch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, providing users with a crisp and vibrant viewing experience.
Advanced Camera Capabilities
One of the standout features of the Arrows Z is its camera capabilities. The smartphone is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera that not only captures high-quality photos but also records full HD video in 1080p. This makes it an excellent choice for photography enthusiasts and those who enjoy capturing video content on the go. Additionally, the device includes a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera, which is ideal for video calls and selfies.
Powerful Performance and Connectivity
Under the hood, the Arrows Z is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz TI OMAP 4430 processor, ensuring smooth and efficient performance. The device also comes with 1GB of RAM, which allows for seamless multitasking and quick app launches. For storage, the Arrows Z offers 8GB of internal memory, which can be expanded further using the microSD card slot, providing ample space for apps, photos, and videos.
In terms of connectivity, the Arrows Z is well-equipped. It supports WiMax, which offers high-speed internet connectivity, making it perfect for streaming videos, browsing the web, and downloading large files. The device also includes Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, allowing users to connect to various Bluetooth-enabled devices such as headphones, speakers, and smartwatches. Another notable feature is the digital TV tuner, which enables users to watch their favorite TV shows and channels directly on their smartphone.
The Arrows Z runs on Google’s Android Gingerbread 2.3.5 operating system, providing users with access to a wide range of apps and services available on the Google Play Store. The user interface is intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy for users to navigate through the device’s features and settings.
