The design of this years iPhone X is expected remain very similar to last years model, we are expecting to see three new iPhones this year, two with OLED displays and one with an LCD display.
All three handsets will be different versions of the iPhone X and will apparently come with an almost identical design. That would mean that they will have the same size notch at the top of the display as the current flagship iPhone.
According to a recent report the 2019 iPhone range will have a smaller notch at the top of the device than the current range. Apple are apparently looking into combining the facial recognition module of the handset and also the front camera,which would allow them to have a smaller notch at the top of the device.
It is not exactly clear how Apple will be able to combine its facial recogntion technology and the front camera on the iPhone into one module. This will not happen this year so this years handsets will have the same design as the current models.
We are also expecting Apple to release a new iPhone SE this year, this device is expected to be released some time over the next few months.
