Earlier today we heard that Apple wants $707 million more in damages from Samsung in their US patent case, this is on top of the $1.05 billion that Apple has already been awarded by the court.
Now more details have been revealed that as well as the extra $707 million in damages, Apple is also seeking a permanent sales ban on Samsung’ flagship Android smartphone in the US, the new Samsung Galaxy S III.
As well as a ban on the Samsung Galaxy S III, Apple is also looking to obtain permanent sales bans on a number of other Samsung devices in the US, which include Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1 Android tablet.
