We heard earlier today that Apple has filed for the iCloud trademarks in Europe, they purchased the iCloud.com domain name a while back, but it remained registered to the previous owner until now.
Apple purchased iCloud.com from Xcerion for a reported $4.5 million, and the company renamed their cloud service CloudMe, and have also transferred the trademarks for iCloud in the US to Apple.
Apple has already officially announced iCloud, and they will show it off at next weeks World Wide Developer Conference (WWDC), where we are expecting them to unveil iTunes music streaming using iCloud.
