The new iPhone X launches this Friday and it looks like the handset could end up being Apple’s most popular iPhone to date despite its high price tag of $1,000. We heard earlier that demand for the new iPhone is off the charts, the handset went up for pre-order last Friday.
Apple has now started to ship out the new iPhone X to its customers who pre-ordered the device with a number of people reporting that they have received shipping notification from Apple of their new iPhone X. The handset launches this Friday the 3rd of November and people who pre-ordered the device should get their handset on Friday.
Pre-orders of the handset sold out quickly for launch day last Friday, if you order the device now it is showing a shipping date of five to six weeks, which is the middle of December. The handset goes on sale in Apple stores this Friday and there is expected to be high demand for the device at Apple’s retail stores.
We could end up seeing large queues at Apple Stores on Friday, like we have in the past when a major new iPhone has been released. It is not clear as yet on how much stock of the new iPhone Apple will have in their retail store on Friday. The handset could also end up selling out at Apple stores as well as online.
