Apple’s iPhone X appears to be a popular device for the company. The handset went up for pre-order last Friday and after a short while delivery dates for the new smartphone had slipped to December. If you pre-order the new iPhone X now you will have to wait at least 5 to 6 weeks to get your hands on the device.
Before pre-orders of the new iPhone started we heard rumors that the handset would be in short supply at launch. Apple has now said that they have had large demand for their new iPhone and demand for the handset is ‘off the charts’. The company released a statement which you can see below.
We are thrilled to be taking orders for iPhone X, the future of the smartphone. We can see from the initial response, customer demand is off the charts. We’re working hard to get this revolutionary new product into the hands of every customer who wants one, as quickly as possible. We will keep accepting orders online, and iPhone X will be available at Apple retail stores on Friday, November 3 starting at 8 a.m., as well as from our carrier and retailer partners around the world.
Apple’s new iPhone X will go on sale this Friday the 3rd of November 2017. The handset is being sold in Apple’s retail stores around the world. It is not clear as yet on how much stock of the new iPhone Apple will have in their stores this Friday. We suspect that we will see large queues outside Apple’s retails stores on Friday for the launch of their new smartphone.
