It looks like the new iPhone X is going to be a popular smartphone for Apple. The handset went up for pre-order a couple of hours ago and now it looks like launch day stock on Apple’s website has sold out. Apple’s website in the US and UK is now showing the new iPhone Shipping in 5 to 6 weeks.
That means that Apple has sold out of its initial supply of the iPhone X on its website to be delivered to customers next Friday the 3rd of November. We previously heard that Apple would have around 2-3 million units of the handset at launch, which could lead to demand being much higher than supply.
If you are looking to pick up the new iPhone X on launch day and have not managed to pre-order it yet, then Apple will also have the device available in their retail stores next Friday. Apple will also be offering a reserve and pickup service for the handset at their retail stores, although this options is not available at the moment.
