As well as the new iOS 13 beta 5, Apple has also released a new beta of their macOS software to developers, macOS Catalina beta 5.
The new macOS Catalina beta 5 is now available for developers to download. It comes two weeks after the release of the latest beta, continuing Apple’s trend of frequent updates to ensure a polished final product.
New Features in macOS Catalina
Apple’s new macOS software will bring a wide range of new features to the Mac. One of the most significant changes is the introduction of the new Apple Music, Apple TV, and Apple Podcasts apps, which will replace iTunes. This change is part of Apple’s strategy to streamline its services and provide a more focused experience for users. While it may seem like iTunes is being phased out, it’s more accurate to say that its functionalities are being divided among these three specialized apps.
