Apple released their seventh beta of iOS 12 earlier this week, the update was pulled due to issues and now they have released iOS 12 Beta 8.
The iOS 12 Beta 8 software has been released to developers and also members of Apple’s public beta testing program, the software is now available to try out.
The iOS 12 beta 7 had issues where apps would take a long time to load, we recently saw some speed test videos of this.
Improvements and Fixes in iOS 12 Beta 8
The eighth beta of iOS 12 has apparently fixed these issues, the software brings a range of new features to Apple’s iPhone and iPad. One of the most significant improvements is the enhanced performance and stability. Users had reported that the previous beta version caused apps to take an unusually long time to load, which has now been addressed in this latest update.
In addition to performance improvements, iOS 12 Beta 8 includes several new features aimed at enhancing user experience. For instance, the update introduces new Animoji characters, improved augmented reality capabilities through ARKit 2, and more robust parental controls. These features are designed to make the iOS ecosystem more engaging and user-friendly.
Upcoming iPhone Models
We are expecting the final version of the software to land next month along with Apple’s new iPhone X handsets. There are three new models of the iPhone coming next month, one with a 6.1 inch LCD display that may launch as the iPhone 9. There are also two OLED models, one with a 5.8 inch display and the other with a 6.5 inch display.
The 6.1-inch LCD model is expected to be a more affordable option, targeting a broader audience. This model will likely feature Face ID and a single rear camera, making it a budget-friendly alternative to the more premium OLED models. On the other hand, the 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch OLED models are expected to be the successors to the current iPhone X, featuring dual cameras, improved battery life, and possibly even support for the Apple Pencil.
Moreover, these new iPhone models are anticipated to come with the A12 Bionic chip, which promises faster performance and better energy efficiency. This new chip will likely enhance the capabilities of augmented reality applications, gaming, and other processor-intensive tasks.
In summary, the release of iOS 12 Beta 8 marks a significant step forward in Apple’s software development cycle. With improved performance, new features, and the anticipation of new iPhone models, Apple continues to set the bar high for mobile technology.
