It looks like we are getting closer to the final version of iOS 11.4 as Apple has now released iOS 11.4 Beta 5. The software is now available for developers and also for members of Apple’s public beta testing program.
The iOS 11.4 Beta 5 software comes a week after the last release and it brings a range of new features to the iPhone and iPad.
These new features in iOS 11.4 include support for Apple’s iMessages in iCloud, this will allow you to synchronize your messages across all of your devices, this includes new devices that you want to use iMessage with. The update will also include a USB restricted mode for additional security to devices like the GrayKey box.
The update also comes with support for AirPlay to and it comes with a range of bug fixes and performance improvements for Apple’s devices. As this is the fifth beta of iOS 11.4 we are not far off the final version.
Assuming there are no major issues with this release, we suspect we will get iOS 11.4 beta 6 next week which should be the GM and the final version the week after that. As soon as we get some details on exactly when the new iOS 11.4 software is being released to everyone, we will let you guys know.
