After the release of five betas, Apple has released their iOS 11.4.1, the update may be a small one, but it is also a significant update as it ads in their USB restricted mode.
Apple’s USB restricted mode will stop devices like the GrayKey Box used by law enforcement to crack passcodes on devices. The update also includes a number of other bug fixes and performance improvements.
Here is what is included in the update:
- Fixes an issue that prevented some users from viewing the last known location of their AirPods in Find My iPhone
- Improves reliability of syncing mail, contacts, and notes with Exchange accounts
The new iOS 11.4.1 software is now available to download as an over the air update for the iPhone and iPad. You can download the update to your device by going to Settings > General > Software Update ? Download and Install.
