
The new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will come with Apple’s new mobile payment system, which is called Apple Pay, when the feature is launched, and now it would appear that we may have a possible release date for Apple Pay.
According to a recent report by the Daily Dot, Apple Pay will officially launch on the 7th of November, the news comes from USAA, who are a partner on Apple Pay.
Parekh says USAA will offer Apple Pay beginning on “Nov. 7 for USAA MasterCard and USAA Visa cards.” Since publishing, USAA has said it does not want to commit to a date at this time.
The new iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 are also expected to feature the mobile payment solution, as both devices are rumored to come with a new fingerprint scanner and TouchID.
Apple are expected to launch Apple Pay with iOS 8.1, we are expecting iOS 8.1 later this month, although Apple Pay may not launch until early next month.
We are expecting to find out more details about the launch of Apple’s new mobile payment system at their iPad event next week, as soon as we get some details on exactly when Apple Pay will launch, we will let you guys know.
