Apple are expected to introduce their 2018 iPad Pro tablets later this month, the company will also launch some new Macs.
Now it looks like we may have some more details on the new high end iPad, according to a recent report, Apple will ditch the headphone jack on these new tablets. The current version of the iPad Pro comes with a 3,5mm headphone jack.
This really does not come as a surprise as this is something that Apple did with the iPhone a few years ago and now it looks like they will do the same thing with the iPad.
The device will apparently also be Apple’s thinnest iPad Pro to date it is said to measure just 5.9mm thick, the design of the tablet is also expected to change. The tablet will come with an almost bezel free display and it will not feature a home button, instead it will come with Apple’s Face ID.
We are expecting to see two versions of the new iPad like the existing models and the tablet is expected to come with a modified version of the A12 which is used in the iPhone XS and XS Max, this new processor is expected to be faster than the iPad version.
Apple have not announced their special iPad event date as yet, if it does happen this month then we may get some sort of announcement on when it will take place this week.
