Apple has announced some new 8 core MacBook Pro laptops which the company says is their fastest notebook to date. The new MacBook now comes with faster 8th and 9th generation Intel Core processors.
The new MacBook Pro offer two times the performance of the previous quad core notebook and gives 40 percent performance improvement over the 6 core MacBook.
“Whether it’s college students mastering a course of study, developers building world-class apps or video editors creating feature films, we’re constantly amazed at what our customers do with their MacBook Pro,” said Tom Boger, Apple’s senior director of Mac Product Marketing. “Now with 8-core processors for an incredible performance boost, along with its stunning Retina display, fast storage, all-day battery life and running macOS, MacBook Pro continues to be the world’s best pro notebook and we can’t wait to get it into our customer’s hands to see what they do next.”
As well as new processors these new notebooks comes with Apple’s Retina display, super fast solid state drive and Apple’s T2 security chip. The 13 inch model comes with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 2TB of SSD storage.
The 15 inch model comes with up to 32GB of RAM and up to 4GB of SSD storage, there is also a Radeon Pro Vega 20 with 4GB of RAM.
There are two models in the range a 13 inch model which starts at $1,799 and a 15 inch models which starts at $2,399. The top 13 inch model with all of the upgrades will set you back $3,499 and the top 15 inch model will cost $6,549.
