On Friday last week Apple opened sales of their new range of iPhone 6 smartphones from its retail stores, sparking long queues outside each as early adapters wanted to get their hands on the new iPhone 6 smartphones. Check out a couple of Apple iPhone 6 unboxing videos after the jump.
Apple launched two new iPhone 6 devices last week in the form of the iPhone 6 with a 4.7 inch screen and the iPhone 6 Plus which is equipped with a larger 5.5 screen.
Before the new iPhone 6 became available in Apple retail stores, Apple received a record number of pre-orders on its website for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus smartphone and new figures show that Apple has received a far greater response this year with the iPhone 6 when compared to previous iPhone launches.
To re-cap the smaller iPhone 6 smartphone offers a resolution of 1334 x 750 pixels, while the larger iPhone 6 Plus offers a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Both are equipped an 8 megapixel camera, but the iPhone 6 Plus model comes with Optical Image Stabilization to help keep your video footage even smoother.
Also both iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 6 handsets are powered by Apple’s 64-bit A8 processor, supported by an Apple M8 motion coprocessor. Other features of the new iPhone 6 include TouchID a built-in fingerprint sensor, plus a front facing FaceTime HD camera, as well as running the Apple’s latest iOS 8 mobile operating system.
iPhone 6 prices start at $199 on contract and iPhone 6 Plus prices start at $299 on contract. For more information on both jump over to the Apple website for details. A couple of iPhone 6 unboxing videos are available below, with one ending a dirtier than the other.
