AOC has this week unveiled a new desktop all-in-one computer system it has created which has been specifically designed to run the Remix OS, which has converted Google’s Android mobile operating system into a desktop operating system.
The AOC AIO PC is fitted with a 23.8 inch display that offers users a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and is powered by a Amlogic S905 quad-core ARM Cortex-A42 processor supported by 2GB of RAM.
AOC has created two different configurations with either 16 or 64 GB of on-board storage and both systems also include 4 x USB ports, 1 x ethernet connection and dual HDMI ports. The new system is expected to ship with Remix OS 2.0 software when it becomes available throughout China during the summer months of this year.
Android is everywhere, and there’s no surprise why. It’s powerful, flexible, and downright fun to use. Remix OS 2.0 is pioneering the next chapter of the Android journey. Designed to bring simplicity to productivity, Remix OS 2.0’s features are unlike anything you’ve ever seen on Android.
Unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet, but as soon as information comes to light we will keep you updated as always.
