Its never easy trying to enter credit card details on a small mobile phone screen to try and make purchases. Apple’s simply payment method of purchasing apps from their iTunes Store solves this process and increasing app sales and makes the whole process more enjoyable for both the consumer and Apple.
Google are now following suit with their Android Market by partnering with operators worldwide so that users of the Android operating system can now buy applications and charge the cost directly to their AT&T monthly phone bill.
Mobile operator T-Mobile has provided this feature for some time and AT&T is now following suit according to a recent blog post on the Android Developers website.
AT&T Android users can now easily charge their Android Market purchases to their monthly accounts with only a few clicks. Google is continuing to form partnerships with other operators to offer more carrier billing options for their subscribers worldwide.
