HMD global has released a new software update for the Nokia 7, the update comes in the form of Android 8.1 Oreo.
The Android 8.1 Oreo update for the Nokia 7 also includes Google’s security update for Android for the month of May. The update bring a range of new featuyres to the handset and these include Face Unlock and more.
Here is what is included in the update:
- Dual SIM Dual Standby Dual VoLTE –
- Bluetooth battery level indicator
- Face recognition unlock
- Gaming Do Not Disturb mode
- Nokia Pro Camera
- System theme adapts to the wallpaper color
- Enhanced power management
- Enhanced camera interface
- Improved compatibility of 3.5mm headphone jack
- Google security patch for May
The update has apparently been released in China so far and it is around 698MB in size, you can check to see if it is available on your handset by going to Settings > System > System Update.
