Amazon announced their new Kindle Fire HD tablets last month, the 7 inch one with WiFi only will be available this month, and the 8.9 inch model, which comes with WiFi and 4G will launch next month.
Now it would appear that the 8.9 Inch Kindle Fire HD is on target to launch next month as Amazon has now received approval for the device from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
Normally companies get FCC approval for a device before it is announced it isn’t clear why Amazon decided to announce the device before the received the necessary regulatory approval.
The 8.9 Inch Kindle Fire HD is available to pre-order from Amazon and it will go on sale in the US on the 20th of November, and come with a 4G LTE connection as well as WiFi.
