Huawei is reportedly working on the successor of the last year’s Huawei Ascend Mate 7. The phablet will be known as Huawei Mate 8 and is expected to see the light of the day in the coming months.
We’ve already seen some leaked images of the alleged handset earlier this year, and it seems we have more information to share about the specifications of the Huawei Mate 8.
Surfacing from Chinese shores, the alleged device will carry on with the all-metal design as well as the fingerprint sensor as introduced with the Ascend Mate 7. Furthermore, the alleged device will feature a similar sized display with a QHD resolution, a Kirin 930 processor to make sure there’s enough power for the handset, and last but not the least, a 20.7MP camera sensor from Sony. Report also suggest that the alleged phablet will feature a bezelless display which would be an interesting addition.
However, there’s no official word from Huawei about the existence of the handset so we’ll suggest you to take it with a grain of salt and take it as a rumor. We’ll update you if we get to hear anything more about the alleged Huawei Mate 8.
