HMD announced a number of new devices at the Mobile World Congress 2017 earlier this year. The handsets are set to launch globally by the end of June 2017.
According to a new report from TechRadar, the company is committed to providing top notch support to its customers. An official confirmed that all the handsets will get the upcoming Android O operating system.
The company official said,
The smartphones will get the Android O update once the new release is available from Google for their OEM partners, the same way HMD Global is committed to the monthly Android security updates.
It’s worth mentioning that the Google hasn’t officially released the new update yet, and when it does later this year, it might take some time for the Finnish company make proper adjustments and enhancements to the operating system before it’s rolled out to the general public.
