Acer Chromebase Desktop Chrome OS AIO Launches From $330

The new Acer Chromebase all-in-one system were unveiled earlier this year during April and this week Acer has unveiled pricing and availability for the systems that will be starting from $330 and are expected to ship during the last few weeks of this month.

Acer has equipped the all-in-one desktop PC system loaded with Google’s Chrome OS with a 21.5 inch touchscreen 1920 x 1080 pixel IPS display offering 178 degree viewing angles and 10-point multitouch input.
Inside Acer has fitted a NVIDIA Tegra K1 ARM-based processor supported by 4GB of RAM and 16 GB of flash storage together with connectivity via 802.11 a/b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0, plus HDMI out, USB 3.0 and US 2.0 ports, a HD webcam and stereo 3 watt speakers. Acer writes :

“The new Acer Chromebase comes with a Full HD resolution, 178-degree viewing angle display which incorporates 10-point touch technology2 , enabling more than one user to work, play and interact together.

The device boots up in 10 seconds, and has multiple layers of security built-in with automatic system updates. Chrome OS supports multiple users and accounts while photos, videos, music, and documents are all synchronized and backed-up with the user’s Google account.”
