Acer has today announced that a new Acer C7 Chromebook in the form of the Acer C710-2856, is now available at 2,800 Walmart stores across the US for $199.
The Acer C7 Chromebook C710-2856 is equipped with a 16GB solid state disk (SSD) which allows it to boot up in just 8 seconds and resume nearly instantly from sleep mode.
The Acer C7 Chromebook C710-2856 notebook is fitted with a 11.6-inch HD Widescreen CineCrystal LED-backlit LCD, and is powered by a Intel Celeron 847 2MB L3 cache, 1.10GHz, DDR3 1333 MHz processor supported by 2GB of RAM and also includes a 1.3 megapixel webcamera. Acer explains:
