A new version of the value Android Ubislate 7+ will soon be making its appearance in India, which will be named the Aakash 2. The new Android Aakash 2 tablet will be equipped with a 7 inch capacitive touchscreen display and powered by a 700 MHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor.
Power to the Aakash 2 tablet will be provided by a 3200mAh battery that will be capable of providing up to 3 hours of battery life, and have been designed for India’s student population.
Even though the new Aakash 2 tablet will be running Android when it arrives the exact version that will be loaded on to the tablet, is still yet to be revealed.
In comparison the original Aakash tablet was equipped with a resistive touchscreen, a 366 MHz ARM 11 processor, and a battery that was only good for around 2 hours. The new Android Aakash 2 tablet will be arriving in India during April and will be priced around $40.
