McLaren has unveiled its latest offering in the form of the 600LT. The LT designator is for Long Tail models that have more power, less weight, better aero, and track-focused dynamics. The 600LTis the latest entry to that Long Tail family.
The 600LT weighs in at 2,749.2 pounds making its six pounds lighter than the 570S Coupe. McLaren packs in a 3.8L twin-turbo V8 making 592hp and 457 lb-ft of torque giving the car a power to weight ratio of 474bhp/ton. Tires for the car are bespoke Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires.
The new carbon fiber bodywork makes the 600LT 2.9-inches longer than other Sport Series models. It gets a new front splitter, side sills, extended diffuser, and a fixed rear wing. The car also has top exit exhaust and a track focused cabin with the carbon fiber racing seats from the P1. Pricing is unannounced at this time and production is limited.
