We know that Apple is releasing three iPhone X handsets this year, two will feature an OLED display, the third will be the 6.1 Inch LCD iPhone X.
The 6.1 Inch LCD iPhone X is expected to be cheaper than the other models, the handset is rumored to retail for around $699, prices for the current iPhone X start at $999.
The handset is expected to replace the iPhone 8, which currently retails for a similar price, according to KGI securities Analyst Ming Chi Kuo it could end up being Apple’s most popular smartphone out of the new models coming this year.
Ming Chi Kuop is predicting that Apple will sell around 100 million units of the LCD iPhone X, the handset will apparently be more popular with iPhone fans due to the power price point. The handset is expected to share many of the features of the more expensive iPhone X models.
Previous rumors have suggested that this years iPhone X will be discontinued when the new models come out this year. Apple will apparently do this with the handset this year rather then selling it as last years model at a lower price point like it has done in the past.
