We have heard a number of different rumors about next years iPhone 12 handsets, the latest one is that Apple’s 2020 iPhones will come with larger batteries.
According to a recent report by The Elec, next years iPhones will feature a custom battery protecion module that it 50 percent smaller than the one use in the iPhone 11 handsets.
This smaller module would allow Apple to use larger batteries in next years iPhones and this would apply to all models of the handset.
We are expecting to see four different versions of the iPhone 12 next year, two Pro devices with a 61. inch and 6.7 inch display and two lower priced handsets like the iPhone 11 with a 5.4 inch and 6.1 inch display.
All of these new handsets will get a range of updates over the current iPhones, this will include either a smaller notch or no notch at all. We are also expecting all four devices to come with OLED displays and also come with new cameras and of course 5G.
Apple’s iPhone 11 range of handsets launched in September 2019 so we will have to wait until September 2020 to see next years devices. Apple are also expected to launch a new iPhone early in 2020, the handset will either launch as the iPhone SE 2 or the iPhone 9.
