Subaru has officially unveiled the all-new Ascent 3-row SUV. The vehicle will be offered in four trims and two seating configurations. The configurations include a 7-seater with second-row captain’s chairs and a configuration with bench seats for second and third rows.
All Ascent models will have standard all-wheel drive and a new turbo 2.6L engine making 260hp. The Ascent will tow 5,000 pounds, the highest towing capacity of any Subaru ever made. All Ascent models will also come standard with EyeSight Driver Assist Technology.
Buyers can opt for heated and cooled seats in some trims and a 4G LTE hotspot. Subaru says that there are eight USB charging ports inside and a 120V outlet in the center console. There are a total of 19 cup and bottle holders in the Ascent making it a family-friendly vehicle.
