Ford has announced that it will be adding another special edition Mustang to its 2019-year model range. The new special edition is a return of the California Special. The car will get the 5.0L 460hp, 420 lb-ft V8 engine that all GTs get.
Top speed for the car is 155mph and it can be had with a 6-speed manual with auto rev-match shifting when fitted with the Performance Pack. The California Special is mostly an appearance package. The car gets a blacked-out grille and a special side stripe that ends in a unique rear fender scoop.
Inside the car gets black Miko suede-trimmed seats that have GT/CS insignia and contrasting red stitching. Ford also says that it will have new colors for 2019 Mustangs including Velocity Blue and Need for Green. The 2019 Mustang range will hit dealers this summer.
