Ford has rolled out the updated 2018 Mustang Convertible. The new drop top shares the same updates and changes that the Mustang coupe received. That means there is a new design for the front and rear of the car and new paint colors. Convertible buyers can chose three new colors and there are 12 different wheel choices.
Convertible buyers can also opt for MagneRide suspension and the vert gets the new digital instrument cluster from the coupe. Convertible mustangs also get the new safety features like pre-collision assist with pedestrian detection.
The base V6 is gone and the base engine is now a 2.3L EcoBoost and the 5.0L V8 carries over. Buyers can opt for the new 10-speed automatic or the standard manual transmission. Optional active valve exhaust is available as well. Pricing and an exact launch date are unannounced, all we know for now is that the car will go on sale this fall.
