Xbox One TV Headed To Europe And Canada (Video)

The Xbox One TV feature has been available on Microsoft’s latest console in the US since launch, and now Microsoft has announced that it will start testing the features in a number of European countries and also Canada.

Microsoft will start testing out the features with Xbox One preview members in the UK, Canada, France, Italy, Spain and Germany, and this will include the OneGuide feature.

Microsoft has also started previewing a new SmartGlass app, which will come with OneGuide integration and the ability to control your TV or set top box and its DVR functions with the application.


So in addition what you can do today, we also want to explore some new ideas. That’s why we’re making a range of new features available to select Xbox Live members by invite only in the U.S., Europe, and Canada. Designed to improve the TV experience on Xbox One, the features bring elements of OneGuide to new markets, and they add OneGuide and universal remote control to Xbox SmartGlass.
