Apple MacBook owners that are running low on storage or would like to carry larger files with them on the move, might be interested in a new MacBook storage expansion module called the TarDisk.
TarDisk has launched over on the Kickstarter crowdfunding website this week and has been designed to provide an easy upgrade solution for your MacBook system adding 256GB of extra storage using a flush SDcard holder.
Similar solutions have been designed in the past but for $50 you are able to add an extra 64GB of storage to your MacBook with ease or for $256 the massive 256GB TarDisk unibody upgrade. For more information on this useful and very easy storage upgrade solution for MacBook systems watch the video below:
“TarDisk 256 is built around an industry leading flash memory controller. The controller was developed for professional HD equipment requiring UHS Speed Class 3 or above. This provides the core makeup of TarDisk’s speed and stability. The controller is paired with high-density 16 GigaByte (128 Gigabit) (MLC) NAND dies. Eight, 16GB NAND chips are assembled into a stack. Two stacks are placed side by side and combine with the controller to produce a final product that is 14mm long x 22mm wide.”
