Yesterday Samsung announced the Samsung Galaxy Core, and now we have the full specifications on this new Android smartphone from Samsung, which include Google’s mobile OS in the form of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The Samsung Galaxy Core comes with a 4.3 inch WVGA TFT LCD display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, processing is in the form of a dual core 1.2GHz processor and the device also comes with 1GB of RAM.
Other specifications on the Samsung Galaxy Core include 8GB of built in storage, the handset also features a microSD card slot which can take up to 64GB microSD cards, pus there is a 1,800 mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy Core will be available in single SIM and dual SIM versi0ns, the handset comes with HSUPA 5.76 900/2100, EDGE/GPRS 850/900/1800/1900, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 USB 2.0 and a microUSB port.
The Galaxy Core features front and rear facing cameras, on the back of the handset we have a 5 megapixel camera for photos and video with an LED flash, on the front of the device is a VGA camera for video calls.
The Samsung Galaxy Core comes with a number of features, which include Samsung Hub, Samsung ChatON, Smart Stay, Smart Alert, Motion UI, S Voice, Voice Unlock and more, there are no details on pricing or a release date as yet.
