QUBE, the puzzle game that saw the light of day as the first ever Indie Fund project is now coming to the Wii U. Developer Toxic Games has tweeted a picture of the game running on Nintendo’s GamePad and also hinted at a Sony PS Vita version. Both Sony and Nintendo have been avidly courting indie developers in recent months, leading to a spate of quality releases on both platforms.
Nintendo’s console hasn’t been setting the world alight at retail and more support for indie developers is one of the ways Nintendo is helping shift momentum. Nintendo has also recently dropped its requirement that a developer have a dedicated office space.
