People Start Queuing For iPhone 5 Ahead Of Fridays Launch

It looks like Apple fans have already started to queue up for Apple’s next generation smartphone, the iPhone 5 which will go on sale in the US and Europe this Friday the 21st of September.

The photo below shows Apple fans outside the New York Apple store, and it was taken by Fortune yesterday, so by the time the iPhone 5 is released they will have been in the queue for 5 nights.

Demand for the iPhone 5 is high this year, with pre-orders of the device selling out in just over an hour, so we suspect by next Friday that the queues for the iPhone 5 will be pretty big.
