Panasonic Launch New Rugged LUMIX TS10 Compact Digital Camera

Panasonic has just added a new rugged the LUMIX TS10 compact camera to its Lumix range. The new Panasonic LUMIX TS10 is waterproof to approximately 10 feet, shockproof up to 5 feet, dust proof and freezeproof to 14 degrees F*(1).

Its slim design is still able to include a 14.1 mega pixel camera fitted with a 4x optical zoom. On its back is a 2.7″ intelligent LCD screen that can detect lighting conditions and automatically boost LCD backlighting by 40% when shooting outdoors.

The LUMIX TS10 can also shoot High Definition video in 720p Motion JPG and includes an image-processing Venus Engine IV that has advanced signal processing technology to render high-quality images and videos.

The Panasonic LUMIX TS10 will be available in blue, red, black and silver and will be shipping in mid-September for around $249.95.
