The other day we saw some photos of two new tablets from Motorola, one of which is reported to be the new Motorola Xoom 2, and now it would appear that we may see these two new Android tablets before the end of the year.
According to a recent report, we will see a new 7-inch Motorola tablet along with a new 10-inch Motorola Xoom 2 tablet either in November or December.

Expected Features and Specifications
Both of the new Android tablets from Motorola are expected to come with Android 3.2 Honeycomb, which was a popular version of Android designed specifically for tablets. The Xoom 2 is rumored to feature a 10.1-inch display, a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, and 1GB of RAM. This would make it a significant upgrade over the original Xoom, which had a 1GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM. The new processor should provide a noticeable boost in performance, making the Xoom 2 more responsive and capable of handling more demanding applications.
We have also heard that the Xoom 2 will be able to record full HD video in 1080p. This is a significant improvement over the original Xoom, which could only record video in 720p. The ability to record in 1080p will make the Xoom 2 a great device for capturing high-quality video, whether you’re recording a family event or creating content for YouTube.
Market Position and Competition
The 7-inch Motorola tablet is also expected to be a strong contender in the tablet market. While details about this device are still scarce, it’s likely that it will be positioned as a more affordable alternative to the Xoom 2. The 7-inch form factor is popular among consumers who want a more portable device that can easily fit into a bag or even a large pocket. This smaller tablet could be ideal for reading e-books, browsing the web, and playing casual games.
Motorola’s decision to release two new tablets before the end of the year is likely a strategic move to capture a larger share of the holiday shopping market. With the increasing popularity of tablets, many consumers are looking for new devices to purchase as gifts or for personal use. By offering both a high-end 10-inch tablet and a more affordable 7-inch option, Motorola can appeal to a wider range of consumers.
The tablet market is highly competitive, with major players like Apple, Samsung, and Amazon all vying for consumer attention. The iPad continues to dominate the market, but Android tablets have been gaining ground. Samsung’s Galaxy Tab series and Amazon’s Kindle Fire are two of the most popular Android tablets, and Motorola will need to offer compelling features and competitive pricing to stand out.
As soon as we get some more information, we will let you guys know. Stay tuned for updates on the specifications, pricing, and release dates for these exciting new tablets from Motorola.
