Monster To Stop Making Beats Headphones

Beats Audio has become really popular and their range of headphone which have previously been produced by Monster have done very well, although now it would appear than Monster will no longer be producing the Beats headphones.

HTC recently acquired the majority stake in Beats Audio, and they have been integrating it into their latest smartphones, along with Beats headphones. HP also uses Beats Audio in their range of notebooks.

According to a recent report by Business Week, Monster will no longer produce the Beats Audio headphones, and will attempt to sell new headphones under their own brand.

It isn’t clear as yet whether HTC will license the Beats Audio brand to another headphone manufacturer, although it is more likely that they will manufacture a new range of headphones under the Beats Audio brand themselves.
