If you are a musician being able to connect your preferred instrument to the iPad and compose or just play for fun wherever you go might be appealing. Griffin has a new device that is called the GuitarConenct Pro that will facilitate instruments directly connecting to the iPad or iPhone.
The connection is full digital and will work with apps like GarageBand for recording and tweaking. The gadget is called the GuitarConnect Pro, but it will work with any instrument that has a 1/4-inch jack. The device connects to the iPad via the charge and sync port.
You can pick the GuitarConnect Pro up right now for right under $80. I wonder how well this will work. It might be perfect for street musicians, though people might be less inclined to give you money if you’re rocking out with a $600 tablet.Filed Under: Apple iPad, Gadgets News
