We have been hearing rumors over the last few weeks that Google is looking to produce their own tablet, just like they have done with their Nexus range of smartphones.
According to DigiTimes, the Google Nexus tablet will be a 7 inch device, and it will be priced to be competitive with Amazon’s $199 Kindle Fire tablet, and it is expected to come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
We know that Google is working on their own tablet, as this was confirmed previously by Google’s Eric Schmidt, and if they were able to introduce a tablet with Android 4.0 for a similar price point as Amazon it could end up being a very popular tablet.
Have a look at our Samsung Galaxy Nexus Review to see what we thought of Google and Samsung’s first Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone.
